How It Works

A practical workflow for retail sales

Set up your catalog, serve sales in the POS or storefront, and review tracked stock.

1

Set up your catalog

Add product names, categories, prices, and SKUs using the merchant menu tools.

2

Choose a sales channel

Take in-person sales at the POS or let customers order from your Genfity storefront.

3

Find items at checkout

Search by product name or SKU. A scanner that types the code into the POS search can speed up item lookup.

4

Review tracked stock

Check quantities and low-stock alerts for items where stock tracking is enabled.

Main merchant and branches

Know how your retail locations are billed

A main merchant owns the subscription. Its branches use that account's plan and shared allowances.

Each main merchant is independent

A merchant owner can create separate main merchants. Each main merchant has its own subscription and usage limits.

Branches follow the main account

Branches do not purchase a separate plan. Their eligible usage is combined with the main merchant under shared plan allowances.

Limits depend on the plan or contract

Branch availability and limits are set by the main merchant's active plan or Enterprise contract; they are not unlimited by default.
